“MITHILA EDUCATION AND WELFARE SOCIETY “ is a non –political, non-commual and non –profitable making voluantary organization. It was legally registered under Societies Registration Act (XXI) of 1860. It works for socio-economic, education and cultural decelopment of the most-neglected, oppressed, downtrodden and disadvantaged sections of the society. This organization was formed with the main objects to oraganize develop capabilities and train rural people and community to improve their position in Trust through socio-economic activities. The main aim of the organization is to empower women through income generating programs, so that they can earn their daily bread. It supports downtrodden sections of the Trust especially women and children with proper protection, education and training, so that their dignity may be mauled. It stresses on mobilization of public opinion against social evils,check the atrocities on women and exploitation of rural laborers. Further, the organization is taking steps to utilize existing resource for improving of the health condition of mother & children in rural area and adoption of small morms as well as generate public opinion in favour of family planning. Our organization "Mithila Education and Welfare Society" is a tegistered grass root Level NGO working in Darbhanga, with the aim of overall development of society.The main trust areas are literacy Agriculture, removing child labor, Sanitation, educational development health, Livelihood and also protection of envirorment etc.
